Natural stone in your garden or as your kitchen counter? It might be coming from Rajasthan, India. In the northwest of India, lots of workers are working hard to mine these from the stone quarries. They experience low wages, the work has a high impact on their health and child labor is still present. The local trade union has a broad approach to improve these workers situation and helps them to stand stronger together.

We visited the stone quarries in Rajasthan and spoke to many workers. Through their personal stories we got to understand the broad approach of this inspiring project. The impact stories were used on the website and as part of the book Change! that Mondiaal FNV made for their external relations.
